As a technology-neutral operator that does not rely solely on any one form of energy, we can customize our solutions to the specific situation and needs of each customer. We produce heat by using heat pumps, energy recycling, biogas, and QHeat’s unique medium-deep geothermal solution, among other things.

What Kind of Properties Can Utilize the Heating Service Model?

We offer heating with a service-based model to larger properties, such as industrial halls, shopping centers, and even entire city blocks. We carry out all the necessary equipment investments and offer the produced energy as a service. As part of our turnkey service, we will handle the monitoring, maintenance, and repairs required for the energy system.

The service model is particularly suited for properties where annual consumption exceeds 300 MWh. 

Heat Pump Solutions for Properties

With the electrification of heating, heat pumps are increasingly used in the heating systems of larger properties. Heat pumps that are designed and used correctly can provide significant savings in heating costs. At our sites, up to 70–80 percent of the heating energy required is produced using heat pumps, which reduces the amount of delivered energy substantially.

After the installation of heat pumps, large properties often feature many heat sources designed to be independent. Coordination and integration of these heat sources requires expertise and continuous monitoring to ensure that the savings are actually realized.

Geothermal Heating for Properties Using a Medium-deep Heat Well

Geothermal heating based on the QHeat concept is particularly suited for larger properties, such as shopping centers or entire city blocks. The technology is perfect for dense urban construction, as a single medium-deep heat well can often be used to provide heating and cooling for an entire city block.

The QHeat technology is based on heat wells approximately 2 000 meters deep that utilize thermal energy stored in the ground. The unique QHeat heat wells can also be used for energy storage, thus allowing us to offset seasonal energy variation.

Geothermal Energy is Nearly Emission-free
Medium-deep geothermal heat based on the QHeat concept is a nearly emission-free method of energy production, and it can be used in the fight against climate change. The method enables the utilization of thermal energy captured from the bedrock, as well as the return of energy into the heat well at an economically viable time.
